Plaza del Altamirano

Square·Old Town

The Old Town’s prettiest corner

About Plaza del Altamirano

Plaza del Altamirano is one of the loveliest corners of the historic centre: a small cobbled square with a lamppost in the middle and, down Calle Apartada, a view of the tower of the Encarnación church. Old houses with patios and climbing flowers frame it for much of the year. From here, Calle Mendoza leads to the Plaza del Puente de Málaga, another of the old town gates. Restaurants on the square put tables out in the evening.
