Río Verde beach lies at the mouth of the river of the same name, between the Golden Mile and Puerto Banús. It holds the Spanish Q for quality, and the seafront promenade passes behind it. The Roman villa of Río Verde, with its famous mosaics, is just inland, so it is easy to combine a swim with a visit. Walk west to Puerto Banús for lunch.
