Playa de Calahonda

Beach·Calahonda

Four kilometres of golden sand

About Playa de Calahonda

Calahonda beach runs for about 4.4 kilometres between the port of Cabopino and the beach of El Bombo, straddling the boundary between Marbella and Mijas. It is a semi-urban beach of golden sand, about 20 metres wide on average, well used in summer and with basic services. It is a long walk for an early morning, and quieter at either end. The Torre de Calahonda watchtower stands near its eastern end.
