About Playa de Casablanca
Casablanca is one of the beaches just west of the centre, by the Marbellamar residential area, between La Fontanilla and the Golden Mile. It holds both the Blue Flag and the Spanish Q for quality, and the seafront promenade runs behind it, so you can walk into town for lunch. It is a little calmer than the central beaches but still well served by chiringuitos and sunbed hire. A good option if you are staying on the western side of town.
