About Tolls, parking and the rules
Spain drives on the right. The AP-7 toll motorway is the quick way along the coast and to Málaga Airport; the A-7 runs through the towns and is busy in summer. In the Old Town and Puerto Banús, use the underground car parks: blue lines on the street mean pay-and-display. EU licences are valid; drivers from outside the EU should carry an International Driving Permit with their licence, plus a passport and a credit card in the driver’s name to hire a car.
