Freiduría Miraflores is the place to try the fried fish of Málaga province, the famous pescaíto frito, away from the tourist strip in the Miraflores neighbourhood just north of the centre. Expect lightly fried anchovies, squid and other fish, prawns from the Marbella coast and a list of fresh seafood. It opens for lunch every day and for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday. A good local lunch before or after the Cortijo de Miraflores museum nearby.
