Bar Altamirano has been frying fish and serving shellfish on Plaza Altamirano since 1985, using the recipes of the family’s grandmother, María. Tables spread across the little square in summer, and the speciality is “pescaíto”, the Andalusian mix of lightly fried small fish, along with grilled whole fish and seasonal shellfish. It is lively, unpretentious and one of the Old Town’s most loved tables.
