About Castillo Sohail
Sohail Castle crowns a hill beside the mouth of the Fuengirola river, a strategic vantage point over the Mediterranean that has played a role in many episodes of the region’s history. Today it is a visitor attraction and a cultural venue that hosts concerts and events in summer. Walk up for the views along the coast, then follow the promenade into Fuengirola. It is about half an hour east of Marbella.
